Celebrating Fall at Juniper Village at Williamstown

Juniper Village at Williamstown celebrated the fall with seasonal fun filled events!  We enjoyed the beginning of harvest season with a trip out for "Muffins & Mum's" where we toured the pumpkin patch and enjoyed a most beautiful day enjoying the radiant colors of fall harvest plants, mums, and of course the pumpkin patch.  We were treated to delicious hot apple cider and pumpkin spice muffins fresh baked at the farm...... All in all it was a beautiful day!  Then we had our bowling trip out where we enjoyed pizza at the club along with bowling fun for everyone;  We had some serious bowlers on hand this trip.  I need to practice up before taking them out again!  We ended the month of October with our Halloween Event where we enjoyed a re-enactment of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video;  everyone was in on the action.  We wanted to turn the table on our trick or treaters this year and actually be all dressed up and perform for them.  We had a full on Thriller Dance performance, and D.J. Dee Square of Philadelphia rocked the house with pumping Thriller music and other great dance music,  even D.J. Dee got out on the dance floor and couldn't help to get his groove on with all our residents.  The residents, Associates, and partners in caring were all involved in this great event.  Our very own, Ray Richardson laid down a mean Michael Jackson performance along with our very own Sweet Melissa who played his girlfriend in the video.  In addition, our residents and other Associates all became gouls for the dance performance and stayed in character all day!  They had a blast from make-up applications right on through the day giving out the candy!  We look forward to so many wonderful events coming up for the holidays and we invite everyone to come out and enjoy with us!
