"Believe In Yourself"

This month as we celebrate our Alive In All Seasons Theme: The Brain: "Believe In Yourself", we have planned great outings, social
gatherings and events that increase stimulation for our brainsvisually and intellectually.  residents enjoyed a wonderful out trip to the Aquarium on one of the most beautiful days in April. It was a great day, the colors were magnificent, the educational opportunities
to learn about marine biology and aquatic life was exciting for everyone. It was also great fun to see the penguins! Everyone really loved the penguins. They were all decked out in their tuxedos! One of our residents even got down and rode the turtle!

We also enjoyed a trip to partake in a brain powered luncheon and learned of the foods richest in brain nutrients. As we continued our focus on "Believe In Yourself" we enjoyed a Beautiful Red Hatter's Tea Social with inspirational stories from many of the Red Hatters, including our wonderful Red Hatter Queen!

As we continue on this month we welcomed new families touring our community with great warmth and compassion trying to help them navigate through the very difficult journey of choosing placement for their loved one. And then, provided our "Juniper Welcome" to new residents moving into our community to create a wonderful and embracing experience! We look forward to many more events and activities scheduled throughout our month. Feel free to stop in and enjoy one of
our events!
