WOW! What a kick off to the beautiful month of May at Juniper Village of Williamstown! We began this month by welcoming new residents as they moved in and celebrated new beginnings with family and friends! Then we kicked off the month with a huge celebration for Nurses Week with a very special luncheon for our wonderful Nurses! They enjoyed a great time with fellow nurses, great food, great dessert and very special gifts one of which was hand made by our very own resident, Mrs. Betty Mulroy! I keep ncouraging her to open her own business, who knew that at this stage of her life she would find a new career!! She is doing it for fun, she insists on staying retired, as she loves it!
As we continued our celebrations this month, we enjoyed a beautiful day out at Rowen University as we kicked off our fitness month and did some laps around the track, where Miss Esther, one of our amazing care associates at Juniper knew everyone on the track! Boy she really gets
around! It was a great day! As we continued on we had a special presentation on strength and the importance of fitness at all ages with Personal Fitness Trainer, and Owner of Smart Bodies Trainers in Voorhees, NJ. It was a great and very informative presentation for residents, families and associates who were all present. As we celebrate our Alive In All Seasons them of Fitness:"Grow Strong Daily" here at Juniper, we encourage everyone to do their best in making small steps to better fitness and to continue to Grow Strong Daily with us!
And it wouldn't be May if we didn't have a beautiful and wonderful celebration honoring all of our very special mom's! This mother's day, residents, families and care associates enjoyed a special lunch with beautiful flowers for every mom and music celebration along with delicious refreshments and desserts after the performance! It was a truly beautiful day! The ladies are all still wearing their flowers today!
We invite you to stop out and visit our community anytime! We have lots more to come and many celebrations to enjoy!
