The Artists' Heart- "Awaken Your Passion"!

This month at Juniper Village of Williamstown as we celebrate our
Alive In All Seasons Theme of: Art-"Awaken Your Passion", we have
truly celebrated the "Artisan Heart" that resides within all of us!
We also celebrate the most artistic and powerful expression of life,
which is the art of Love! Across the board at Williamstown, every
creative endeavor is first created with the art of love in action!

We began these celebrations with our Resident Art Show, where our
residents were able to exhibit their beautiful artistic paintings
which are featured on our walls in Williamstown. We had many guests,
which included residents, families and friends from area communities.
Guests also enjoyed the artistry of violin and harp while they
celebrated with champagne and refreshments. Continuing on with our
expression and celebration of the arts, we enjoyed a wonderful
Author's Workshop, which featured three guest authors, two published
authors, Kathleen Lindsey who has published over 9 books available
through Amazon, and Ferida Wolff, who has published over 28 books and
and has many writings in the famed "Chicken Soup For the Soul" books.
In addition, we were very proud to have our own colleague, Joe
Cannizzo; who has written two books and is in the process of having
them published. It was a wonderful and very intriguing time for all.
Guests were on the edge of their seats as they heard the process of
our writers, listened to them as they read some of their books, and
also interacted with an open forum for questions. It was a great
time!

To conclude our wonderful celebration of the Arts, residents, families
and friends from the communities enjoyed a wonderful Valentines event,
with love, music, chocolates, and as we enjoyed the wonderful
demonstration of the art of love with families and friends, even the
pets got in on the action. They wanted to express their love as well!
And as with all we do it wouldn't be a celebration without the "Art
of Giving"! We enjoyed hosting our Fund Raiser event of "Cookies For A
Cure" raising funds to be donated to the Alzheimer's Foundation. It
was a wonderful time and everyone loved the cookies!
