Family Spring Festivities!

Juniper Village at Williamstown embodies the "Alive In All Seasons" program to "Nurture The Spirit of Life" engaging in wonderful, festive celebrations of Cultural & Holiday Events with residents, families, children and guests!  This spring we have just enjoyed a very enlightening and culturally rich Passover "Seder Experience" with Rabbi Rappaport of Vineland, NJ.  Our residents of Jewish faith enjoyed their Passover Holiday with a very special "Seder Experience" enjoying traditional jewish music, the history of the exodus from Egypt and the traditional seder plate commemorating their very rich history.  These residents along with residents of all other faiths entertained special guests such as Rabbi Rappaport, his son, Mr. & Mrs. Wagner and a very special Passover Dog that came in to give a warm   Passover wish! He also brought along his very special sister the "Easter Dog" who brought wonderful Easter wishes to those of the Christian faith.
To continue our family/inter-generational festivities we had a very colorful Easter Brunch for residents, staff, families and friends.  Everyone was there in their bright Easter Colors enjoying a celebratory brunch with bagels, fresh fruits, delicious pasties and Easter Hot Cross Buns...  We enjoyed the many special guests of families, staff, Philadelphia's own Jazz Pianist, Mr. David Dzubinski of N.J. School of Music and the Easter Bunny himself!  The children were so surprised and came from all over the area to take photographs with the Easter Bunny and participate in an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt.  We had Easter Basket Prizes and our very own Mr. Nelson Santos won the Jelly Bean guessing contest, taking home over 1200 jelly beans to enjoy..... We were all very enriched kicking off the Spring season by learning all about the uniqueness of our cultures and very special traditions of our faith.  We look forward to continued events as the summer approaches.
