What a gorgeous day in southern New Jersey to celebrate St. Patty's Day at Juniper Village of Williamstown! Families, Grandchildren, Residents, Staff, Volunteers, Associates, Guests and Partners in Caring joined the great celebration at the "Williamstown Pub"! The event began on March 16th in preparation for the event, many residents joined in the making of Irish Potatoes! We had such a great time, residents were singing & sampling and sampling & sampling & singing. They had to test the potatoes to be sure they were really great to serve at the party. Then on the "Top of The Morning" on March 17th, St Patty's Day, our resident, Mr. Ralph Joyce treated our residents to a wonderful concert of Irish songs with a sing-a-long. In addition to that, the daugther of our resident, Mrs. Martha Rizzo made beautiful Irish bookmarks for everyone and we handed those out as gifts to everyone. The residents then enjoyed a traditional Irish lunch with corn beef & cabbage and mint chocolate chip ice-cream for dessert. To complete our day's events, we were entertained by the wonderful traditional Irish songs by Southern New Jersey's well-known entertainer, Mr. Tom DelMoore! He engaged the residents, guests and even the dog sang along with the mike. In our Wellspring area, our resident, Mr. Tom Carson, also helped Mr. DelMoore and took the stage singing beautifully all the traditional Irish songs in harmony to Mr. DelMoore. Everyone had the most beautiful day all decked out in their Irish green from start to finish! We welcome everyone to come to Williamstown and let your treasure within emerge with us!
