Let Your Joy Arise at Juniper of Williamstown

This September has been a very joyous season for everyone here at Juniper Village of Williamstown! We ended our Assisted Living Week with a celebration honoring the arts, with a published author, our very own friend, Betty Pileggi author of "The Bench" a book for children, and a very special Art History presentation by our friend, artist, Ellie Feller and a really special musical tribute to Neil Diamond! The residents, families, associates, friends and even our community dog, "Gunner" had a blast! We also were delighted by caraciture artist, Joy Edwards who came on sight and created quite the stir with her interpretations via her artform and caused lots of giggles!

As we wind down our days of September, we celebrated and honored the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hoshana & Yom Kippur with all of our Jewish families, associates, and community friends! We were delighted with the beautiful and traditional Klezmer sounds of highly celebrated Bobby Block Orchestra. In addition, we had a very special presentation by our dear, beloved friend, Rabbi Rappaport, of Vineland, NJ. The rabbi gave a beautiful presentation and blowing of the shofer to begin the Eve of Yom Kippur! Everyone was in attendance and held captive at his dynamic remembrance!

We wish everyone a Happy New Year and Yom Kippur!

Please join us for the upcoming events in October, they are going to be great!

"Back To School Days" at Juniper of Williamstown!

Wow! What a wonderful beginning to the "back to school days" of September 2012! We kicked off September with a back to school fun event with many of our community children, their new school clothes and checking in on their first days of school! But they are not the only ones continuing their education. As part of our Alive In All Seasons Program here at Juniper, we will be adding an Italian language class, art classes and a drama class; all coming this fall! So get ready for some new friends, and a lot more fun to come!

We know that life is a classroom and that if we are alive, we always have the opportunity to learn something new! We foster that belief here at Juniper Village of Williamstown and will continually give that
opportunity to our residents, associates, families and friends!

We also had our annual community wide craft fair and crafters came from all over the tri-state area! It was a great time and the residents, families and crafters had a ball. As if that was not enough, we kicked off our "Assisted Living Week" - The Art of The Ages- with a wonderful Grandparent's day celebration with musical artists and ice cream sundays! It was a joyous, joyous day!

To continue our theme for Assisted Living Week we held an Art History Presentation by area artist, Ellie Feller! Her most favorite influence was Monet and her personal art pieces depict her love of his works! What a very inspiring and beautiful presentation!

We look forward to a fun-filled week and a fall season full of the vibrancy of life! Please join us for any of the events that peak your interest!
