Showing Your Colors In Joy

This month at Juniper Village of Williamstown we are enjoying the beautiful colors of the season! For many of us here, it is our favorite month of the year! We kicked off the month with wonderful fun a colorful events beginning with our Red Hatter's Event. Our ladies were all decked out in their red and purple including our Queen Bee!  They all had a great time and the men joined in for the fun. They did resist putting on the red hats though! We followed up this event with a wonderful presentation by Sports Publicist, Mr. Brian Cunningham; who served for two years as a Public Relations man with the Philadelphia Eagles and other sports teams as well. Residents were really impressed with Brian's colorful presentation and many stories of his times with the Eagles and with other sports clients he has represented in his career. Everyone was glued to their seats as he told great stories about the very famous sports heroes they watch all the time. We also were treated to a very educational program on the effects and prevention of Congestive Heart Failure by: Susan Kimmins, RN with Bayada Nurses. Residents, families and community friends enjoyed this very informative presentation.

In addition, we were treated by an inter-generational "World Music" concert by a wonderful young man, Michael O. who is an up and coming musician in our local area! Residents, community friends and families have enjoyed many warm social gatherings as we enjoy the radiant colors of life and joy here at our community, even our dog got in on the action with some affection on the sofa with our residents! Shhhhh don't tell, he will get in trouble! We welcome you to all of our events and we wish you joy in this season!

As we continued through the festivities, residents worked with our Dining Team to create and enjoy a Home Made Pizza/Italian lunch full with strolling accordionist" Walter O."! It was a delight..... As we came to a close of our month we enjoyed a wonderful demonstration of the tahitian art of Home Made Grass Skirts and tahitian dance with full participation of residents, family and associates!
